This particular role requires a fluent English Speaker both written and oral, although another language can also be useful.

• Event producer

BME Global one of the leading conference and event companies is now looking to recruit an Event Producer for its Production department specialising in business research and project management.You will be trained at our Barcelona Headquarters and will join the team producing our leading European Conferences and seminars. Your role will be to research and obtain intellectual content of conference programmes.You will also be responsible for structuring the conference agenda as a result of live research with senior and top level managers from a cross section of international companies, selecting and inviting high-level speakers.

The role will also include designing the conference, brochure design, including copy writing and budget planning to ensure profitability of the conferences and seminars. You will also be overseeing the smooth operation of the event. You should be highly confident at communicating with senior level management. You will be working with a highly dedicated team and enjoy working towards targets and deadlines. A team player attitude is of great importance together with the ability to be proactive and think on your feet.You will also be developing partnerships with media and trade associations, as well as with local governments to ensure your event is the most developed and researched conference on the market.

During the event production cycle you will work closely with the sales team to put together an effective sponsorship strategy, as well as with operations to ensure the smooth running of your event.

Conference producers are expected to generate challenging and highly innovative topics, and are given great incentives to produce the best conferences and events on the market.

The profile we are looking for:

The role will be suitable for someone with commercial experience with a degree.

A high level of English both verbal and written another European language would also be also highly desirable.

Good Strong communication skills with the ability to sell to senior management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for copywriting and brochure production.

Good time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines.

The ability to analyze research and gather and assimilate key information in a swift manor.

Strong production and project management skills.

A flair for creativeness.

A high interest in current affairs, business trends and business issues.

• Conference Events Producer Internship

BME Global are looking for an Intern for our Conference Events Producing team.

This 6 month internship offers the successful candidate the opportunity to assist the events team in researching new event topics, contacting senior level executives and producing the event programme.  The position offers the chance of a long term position for the right candidate.
